George visited the Living Well Centre at the Rowan's Hospice in Purbrook. The centre is a brand new facility proving a relaxed and safe environment for people affected by life-limiting illnesses, their carers, partners and family.
Like many people, I like a good sci-fi film. Of course, predicting the future is fraught with problems and many a moviemaker doesn’t do a great job of getting it right - take Terminator or Logan’s Run for just two examples – though it’s great fun to watch.
Serco’s Design & Integration Team based at their offices in Waterlooville was delighted to welcome back George Hollingbery MP to present our two graduating Apprentices with their 2017 Certificates. George first met the two young men when he visited earlier this year.
George had the pleasure this week of welcoming Takashi Okada, Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of Japan, who has recently been appointed Deputy Chief of Mission at the Japanese Embassy.
Last week George met with Tony Stoller from Winchester Action for Climate Change (WinACC) to talk about their plans for the year ahead and to be introduced to WinACCs new Executive Director, Tom Brennan.
