George Hollingbery meets apprentices at Serco in Waterlooville

Local MP George Hollingbery recently visited Serco Defence business in Waterlooville where he met the company’s two newest apprentices, James Bookham and Blake Neville.  He chatted to them about their college where they are studying Level 4 HNC Electrical/Electronic Engineering,

He also took the opportunity to get an update on our previous apprentices (Samuel Targett and Oliver Bodenham who are now in full time employment, Samuel at the Waterlooville Site as a Technician Engineer and Oliver is now working on shift as an Operator on the Skynet 5 satellite communications contract near Bordon. 

Chris Rocks, Serco’s Capability Director, Space and Security said: “We were delighted to welcome George to Waterlooville again to meet our apprentices.  We are very proud of the work that they do and the contribution that they are already making to our business.

George Hollingbery commented: “Serco is a high technology employer in the town and makes a significant contribution to the UK economy so I was delighted to visit them again and meet their newest apprentices.”
