MP enjoys US President Barack Obama's speech to the Houses of Parliament
Meon Valley MP George Hollingbery listened to Barack Obama's speech about the close ties with Britain alongside a very special relationship - his American wife Janette.
The couple travelled to London's Westminster Hall to hear the US President talk warmly about the two countries to both houses of parliament.
Janette, who hails from Florida, was keen to hear her president and George managed to get a much sought after ticket.
"We are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary soon, so it's been a special and essential relationship for both of us and one, perhaps, on a more equal footing," joked George.
"It was a great day for myself and Janette who, it was fair to say, was very keen to go.
"It's not often, even as an MP, you get to hear a US President give a speech, so it was particularly special to have Janette beside me."
